About

Hello! I’m Taís and I’m a graphic designer.

My approach is grounded in a genuine desire to understand your world, so I can translate your ideas into a graphic language that truly speaks to your audience.

I design intentional, tailored visual narratives that continue to serve your purpose long after our work together is complete.

I've been a graphic designer since 2016, but my creative journey started long before that. I immigrated to Canada from Brazil ✈︎ when I was almost 12 and I was so shy that instead of trying to make new friends, I spent hours on my computer playing with Photoshop and HTML. I hardly spoke English or French, but I expressed myself through art and code.

When it was time to pick a career path, I had a tough choice to make - science or art. ✎ᝰ
I love both to this day, but my art teacher Ms. Cattell nudged me towards the creative direction. So I completed a Fine Arts Bachelors from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) in 2014. During that time, my roommates were graphic designers. Watching them work and admiring their creations was one of my favorite things.

And then, a few years later, it clicked. I realized that graphic design gave me the structure that I missed in science while still allowing me to be creative. So I decided to hone my skills even further and study Graphic Design. At the same time, I was mentored by a master graphic designer, who has both deeply influenced my career path and become a dear friend. ❁

At the end of 2019, I packed up my bags and moved to the country with my partner. ᨒ↟
Now I work from a cozy riverside home where the quiet rural setting gives me the space to truly focus on each project. There's something about being surrounded by nature that lets me dive deeper into my craft, taking the time each design deserves.

My process is intentionally unhurried and I believe in making work that stands the test of time. ༄
Each project gets my full attention and presence, with space for ideas to breathe and evolve.

In my free time, you'll find me dancing, singing ˚♬, drawing, making pottery, and practicing martial arts.
